Present: Dana Magnuson, Christina Dravis, Katie Quinn-Jacobs, Janice Bretscher, Tony Bretscher
1. Emergency Peparedness for Disabled and Elderly - Katie
a. Amy Jo DeKoeyer from Finger Lakes Independence Center will conduct Preparedness
Trainings for the Disabled and Elderly at sites in Town of Dryden
i. Attendees will receive a Go Stay Kit and backpack with supplies
ii. Locations and dates/times to be scheduled
b. Amy Jo DeKoeyer assisting Katie in developing a list of disabled residents
i. Suggested seeking additional guidance from David Whelan
1. How residents can opt-in to be on a list for the Town of Dryden
2. How to maintain a list so it is kept up to date
2. Town Comprehensive Plan – Katie
a. Contacted Joe Wilson regarding the next Planning Board meeting – Wed. Nov. 13
b. Want to ensure the S&P Committee is included in the Focus Groups
3. CERT program
a. First Set of Trainings in progress – 10 participants
b. Start-Up Funds from Town – Dana
i. W-9 Form has been submitted
ii. Request sent to Town to finalize the transfer of funds at their next meeting
c. Bookkeeper – Cheryl Rigas will handle all bookkeeping and accounting for CERT
Program
d. Additional funds needed for uniforms and equipment
i. Christina applied for a grant from Walmart, requesting $5000
ii. Need to generate a list of possible grants to apply for with upcoming deadlines
iii. Possible Chicken Barbecue Fundraisers for Spring/Summer
