Chairman Tselekis called the meeting and a duly advertised public hearing to hear
comments on an area variance requested by Robin King for 3125 Jacksonville Road,
known also as tax parcel 35 . -2-9 to allow construction of a residence on a lot which does
not have the required 200 feet of frontage, and on which it is not possible to inscribe a
200- foot diameter circle of usable area to order at 7 : 40 pm .
Jim Salk briefly explained his client ' s request, noting the lot, which is typical for the
neighborhood in which it is located , consists of 2 . 3 acres, and has 106 feet of frontage.
No comments were heard from the public and no correspondence had been submitted to
the Clerk ' s Office.
After brief discussion, Mr. Hickey made the following motion, which Mr. Mann
seconded :
Whereas, though the variation is substantial in relation to the requirement,
however is typical for the neighborhood in which the parcel is located, and
Whereas, there will be a minimal impact on population density and therefore a
minimal increased demand on available governmental facilities, and
Whereas, there will be no change in the character or the neighborhood and no
detriment to adjoining properties, and
Whereas, the difficulty can not be obviated by some feasible means other than an
area variance, and
Whereas, in view of all of the above, it appears that the interests of justice will be
served by granting the variance,
Be It Hereby Resolved, that an Area Variance be granted to 3125 Jacksonville
Road, Tax Parcel 35 . -2-9 from the requirements for 200 feet of frontage and the ability to
inscribe a 200-foot diameter circle of usable area for the purpose of constructing a
residence on the lot .

Unanimously Adopted .
Hearing no further business, Mr. Mann moved to adjourn the meeting, Mr. Hickey
seconded .

Chairman Tselekis adjourned the meeting at 7 : 47 pm .
