SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
DRAFT ZONING ORDINANCE REVIEW
JULY 20, 2004
PRESENT : Supervisor Doug Austic, Town Councilmen Lee Scott, Robert Weatherby;
and Don Ellis; Councilwoman Roxanne Marino absent; Town Clerk Marsha Georgia;
Deputy Supervisor Richard Coogan; Attorney Bruce Wilson and George Frantz.
Supervisor Austic opened the meeting at 6PM to review the Draft Zoning Ordinance.
Note : These minutes reflect the changes to the ordinance ; the tapes are available for any
discussions that took place at the meeting.
ARTICLE I — PURPOSE
Second paragraph State was capitalized and the common after deleted and replaced with
a period. Started next sentence with — Ulysses is .
ARTICLE II — APPLICATION
2. 1 Conformance
Delete — hereafter erected, changed, or extended in whole or in part, or altered beyond
what is generally accepted as normal maintenance .
2.3 Enforcement and Penalties
First paragraph — delete where proposed construction, alteration, or use thereof would be.
Second paragraph — where it states a fine or to imprisonment — delete or and replace with
and .
2.4 Building Permits
Third paragraph — add to the end — provided that it meets the area requirements of the
zoning district.
Fourth paragraph — insert satisfactory before plot plan.
2.5 Fees for Permits
At the end of the paragraph delete required for public hearing and replace with and
reasonable consultant costs .
2.6 Building Code Conformance
Add in Building before Code (3 places) .
2. 8 Certificate of Compliance or Occupation
Add at the end — except in the case of continued occupancy during the building permit
period.
2 .9 Establishment of Districts
Add - DD - Development District

Stream — correct spelling of stream
Yard front — add published before mean high water
The Board finished review of pages 1 trough 20 and decided because it was after 9 PM
they would start on page 21 at the next meeting scheduled for August 3rd, 2004 at 6PM.
