AGRICULTURAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
SEPTEMBER 11, 2019

The meeting was called to order at 7:37 p.m.
Review and approval of minutes dated August 14, 2019
E. Carpenter made a motion to approve the minutes as written, minutes were unanimously approved.
Old Business
Discussion continued regarding the Agricultural Advisory Committee’s presence at the Dryden Historical
Society’s Heritage Day on October 5th. We would like to have a parcel map of the town with ag land
being indicated by green markings. Would also like to have copies of old farm family
articles/publications for the public to look at on our table.
Having actual working farm machinery would be great but realize that would not be happening this year.
Discussed local farms from years ago compared to today.
Updates
C. Scutt had been at the comprehensive plan meeting and did input that the Agricultural Advisory
Committee and the Conservation Board need to be involved in this rewrite. Consultant thought all the
boards should be gathered together for one of their focus group meetings.
There being no further business, B. Magee made a motion to adjourn, seconded by K. LaMotte and
unanimously approved. The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 pm.
