ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 269 1967
The Regular Meeting of the Town of Ithaca Zoning Board of Appeals
was held on Tuesday , September 26 , 1967 , at the Town of Ithaca
Offices , 108 East Green Street , Ithaca , New York .
Members of the Board present : Chairman David Powers , Robert
Powers , Loran Marion , Zoning Officer Donald Franklin and
Secretary Cheryl Beninati .
Others present : None .
EAST LAWN CEMETERY APPEAL
Chairman Powers called this Public Hearing to order at 7 : 30 P . M .
Zoning Officer Franklin read the legal ad as published in the
Ithaca Journal .
East Lawn Cemetery appealed from the decision of the Zoning
Officer denying permission for construction of a chapel and
winter storage vault at Mitchell Street Extension , which
permit was denied under Article V , Section 18 of the Zoning
Ordinance .
Upon motion by Mr . Marion , seconded by Robert Powers and
carried by unanimous vote , it was moved that special approval
be granted for the building of a chapel and winter storage
vault at E*st Lawn Cemetery .
Note : No persons appeared in opposition to the foregoing .
This meeting adjourned at 7 : 40 P . M .
