SECTION 1. The purpose of this law is to provide that no
exemption from real property taxes shall be granted pursuant.
to Section 458-a of the Real Property Tax Law of the State
of New York.
-- SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of subdivision 4 of
Section 458-a of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of
New York, no exemption from real property taxes shall be granted
pursuant to Section 458-a of the Real Property Tax Law for
purposes of real property taxes levied for the Town of Danby.

SECTION 3. This law shall take effect February 1, 1985.

Board of the Town of Danby, Tompkins County, New York at the Town. Hall ,
1830 Danby Road, on December 27, 1984 at 7:00 PM to adopt LOCAL LAW #2
OF THE YEAR 1984.
A LOCAL LAW IN RELATION TO THE ALTERNATE VETERANS EXEMPTION FROM REAL
PROPERTY TAXATION.
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Danby as follows :
SECTION 1 . The purpose of this law is to provide that no exemption
from real property taxes shall be granted pursuant to Section 458-a
of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New 'York.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of subdivision 4 of Section
458-a of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New York, no exemption
from real property taxes shall be granted pursuant to Section 458-a
of the Real Property Tax Law for purposes of real property taxes
levied for the Town of Danby.
SECTION 3. This law shall take effect—immediately.
By adopting the above law, the Town of Danby will have one year to .review
the matter.

A LOCAL LAW IN RELATION TO CHANGE : IN THE TOWN HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT'S
SALARY FOR 1985.
Residents of the Town of Danby have requested the salary of the Town
Highway Superintendent position be .raised to a higher lever; comparable
with other towns and reflecting the scope of duties connected with such
position.- -

Be it enacted by the Town Board of Danby as follows :

bilities connected with such position .
