Zoning Board of Appeals of Town of Ithaca
August 18 , - '1955

The meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Ithaca
was held on August 18 , 1955 at 5 : 00 P . M. at the town barn . The members
present were William Rolston; Aldus Fogelsanger , Thomas Smith , Harry
Gordon, town zoning officer , was also present .
The board met to discuss further the petition of George Peters to
build a display room and repair shop for servicing television and radio
sets .
After discussion the board , upon motion duly made- and seconded ,

unanimously adopted the following resolution :
fnTfiER.EAS there is no need in the community for this service ; there
are several petitions from neighbors opposing the variance ; the value
of neighboring property would be adversely affected by the proposed
building and no undue hardship would result to applicant ; be it
RESOLVED that the application for varff.�.nce applied for be and is
hereby denied and an order to said effect shall be entered in the
office of the town clerk .
There being no other business , the meeting was adjourned .
