LOCAL LAW NO. 1 of the year 1979 .
A local law providing for the setting of the local fee for
dog licenses in the Town of Danby, New York.
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Danby, New
York as follows :
SECTION I . The local annual fee for each dog license issued
in the Town of Danby shall be $2. 50 . This local fee is in addition
to the statutory fee . Total dog license fees are as follows :
a) Statutory fee of $2 .50 for neutered dogs both male and
female plus local fee of $2 . 50 or a total fee of $5 .00
for all neutered dogs .
b) Statutory fee of $7 . 50 for unneutered dogs both male and
female plus local fee of $2 . 50 or a total fee of $10. 00
for unneutered dogs .
c) The statutory fee for purebred licenses shall prevail.
No local fee will be added .
SECTION II This local law is adopted pursuant to Section 110
Sub-division 4 of the Agriculture and Markets Law of the State of
New York (effective 10/1/79) .
SECTION III . This local law shall take effect immediately upon
its filing in the office of the Secretary of State in accordance
with the provisions of Section 27 of the Municipal Home Rule Law .

RESOLUTION #38 AMEND THE TOWN OF DANBY BUDGET FOR 1980
WHEREAS , the regular meeting of the Danby Town Board was held
December 10, 1979, at the Danby Town Hall, Town of Danby, County
of Tompkins and State of New York, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Danby wishes to participate in the New York
State recreation program for the elderly in conjunction with the
Tompkins County unit of Senior Citizens , and
WHEREAS, under this program, Danby's share of the funds allocated
for this program would be $1, 000. 00 but matching funds are required,
and now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the general fund of the Town of Danby budget for
1980 be amended as follows : The youth program which is funded in
excess of matching funds shall be reduced by $1, 000. 00 (Account No .
A7310) . The $1, 000.00 from the youth budget account be transferred
to the adult recreation account (Account No . A7620) , and further
be it
RESOLVED, that as matching funds are anticipated from the New York
State recreation program for the elderly the general revenue account
in the Town of Danby budget shall be $1, 000 . 00 (Account No . A3772) .
Also $1, 000.00 will be added to the adult recreation account No. A7620
due to this increase in revenue . This account will now have a
balance of $2, 000 . 00 (Account No. A7620) ,and further be it
as
RESOLVED, that/the youth budget will now have a balance of $3, 840 .0 0 .
instead of the $4, 840 .00 which was budgeted and approved $1, 000 .00
will be transferred from the Senior Citizens account in the Federal
Revenue Sharing budget (Account CF7620) and added to the youth
program account in the Federal Revenue Sharing buget (Account CF7630) .
Thus both programs will be funded without increasing local tax
revenues .

RESOLUTION #42 APPROVE REVISED YOUTH PROGRAM BUDGET FOR 1980
IN THE AMOUNT OF $4, 840 .00 AND AUTHORIZE THE
SUPERVISOR TO SIGN THE APPLICATION TO BE
SUBMITTED TO THE NEW YORK STATE DIVISION
FOR YOUTH.
WHEREAS , a special meeting of the Danby Town Board was held
December 26, 1979 by the Danby Town Board at the Danby Town Hall,
County of Tompkins , and State of New York, and
WHEREAS, the Danby Community Council presented a revised youth
recreation budget for 1980 in the amount of $4, 840 .00 for consider-
ation by the town board, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the funds budgeted for youth recreation in the 1980 Town
budget are in the amount of $4;840 .00, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the town board of the Town of Danby approve the
youth recreation revised budget presented by the Danby Community
Council, and further be it
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor of the Town of Danby be authorized to
execute the application to the New York Executive Department Division
of Youth requesting state aid for this project in the amount of
$1, 600 .00 .
