2021 BUDGET
October 16, 2020

The meeting was held via videoconference on the Zoom platform.
Notice of Town Board meetings are posted on the Town’s website and Clerk’s board.
CALL TO ORDER:
Ms. Zahler called the meeting to order at 8:03am.
ATTENDANCE:
The Town Clerk called the roll:
TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT:
Supervisor- Nancy Zahler
Board members- Richard Goldman, Michael Boggs, Katelin Olson, Marc Devokaitis
Town Clerk- Carissa Parlato
Second Deputy Supervisor- Michelle Wright
Planner- John Zepko
Building/Code- Mark Washburn
MOTION TO APPROVE AGENDA:
Ms. Zahler made a motion to approve the agenda. This was seconded by Mr. Boggs and passed
unanimously.
SALES TAX UPDATE:
Ms. Wright shared the most recent sales tax report. This revenue is currently at 61% of what was
budgeted for 2020.
2021 TENTATIVE BUDGET REVIEW:
The board discussed the following funds and accounts:
B FUND
Appropriations:
• Attorney- line increased for increased enforcement in 2021
• Engineering/consulting- expenses in this line could include exploration of new water districts
(paid back if created), fire & EMS study, comp plan update
• Contingency
• Traffic Control
• Public Safety Enforcement Officer
• Zoning
• Planning
A FUND
Appropriations:
• Recreation-
o Mr. Glennon shared staffing & program information
o The board discussed how recreation programs might look in 2021 with regards to the
pandemic. Program spending and fees are linked and new plans will be presented to
the Town Board in 2021.
ADJOURN:
Mr. Goldman moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:57am. This was seconded by Ms. Olson and passed
unanimously.
