Ulysses Planning Board and Town Board
Zoning Work Session , July 22 , 1999
Present : Doug Austic, Krys Cail , Lorren Hammond, George Kennedy, Budd Stover,
Dave Tyler, and Kristin Sosnicki .

The meeting began at 7 : 40 p . m . The Board reviewed the minutes of 6/24/99 .
George made a motion to approve, seconded by Lorren, and passed . The Board reviewed
the minutes of 7/ 14/99 . Grammatical corrections were made. Lorren made a motion to
accept the corrected minutes , seconded by George, and passed.
The Board moved to discussion of the matrix of proposed permitted uses that
Kristin had drafted the previous session . The remainder of the session was dedicated to
an extensive discussion of permitted uses and special permits in each of the four districts .
Kristin agreed to provide additional definitions for auto body shop and repair, auto sales
and storage, public park, seasonal event, and temporary building for commerce . Kristin
also agreed to provide an updated version of the matrix prior to the next meeting on
August 11 , 1999 . The Planning Board has scheduled a public hearing for 710 p.m. , so
the zoning update will take place at 8 : 00 p . m. The meeting ended at 9 :45 p. m .
