TOWN OF ULYSSES
PUBLIC HEARING
6/8/99
PRESENT: Supervisor Doug Austic; Councilpeople Carolyn Duddleston, Sue
Poelvoorde, Andy Hillman and Robert Weatherby; Code Enforcement Officer Alex
Rachun .
Others Present : Grace Wolf, Free Press Reporter, George Kennedy, Catherine
Stover, and Ed McKeil .
Supervisor Austic called the meeting to order at 6 : 45 PM .
Mr. Austic explained the history and intent of the zoning in the area of the
moratorium .
Mr. Kennedy asked what would happen if a grandfather business went out of
business?
Mr. Austic clarified that the businesses would not be grandfather but would be
re-zoned .
Mr. McKeil asked what the difference is between a C1 and a C2 .
Mr. Austic explained .
Hearing no other comments the public hearing was closed at 6 : 55 PM .
The Town Board reviewed SEQR. They set a meeting date of June 22nd, 1999 at
7PM for the next meeting on the rezoning and SEQR.
