2021 Tentative Budget
Town of Ulysses
October 1, 2020
The meeting was held via Zoom videoconference.
Notice of Town Board meetings are posted on the town’s website and clerk’s board.
ATTENDANCE:
TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT:
Supervisor- Nancy Zahler
Board members- Michael Boggs, Katelin Olson, Rich Goldman, Marc Devokaitis
Town Clerk- Carissa Parlato
Deputy Supervisor- Michelle Wright
OTHERS PRESENT:
CALL TO ORDER:
Ms. Zahler called the Ulysses Town Board to order at 8:01am.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
RESOLUTION 2020-1 APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA
BE IT RESOLVED that the Ulysses Town Board approve the agenda for October 1, 2020.

DISCUSSION ON THE 2021 TENTATIVE BUDGET:
Ms. Wright presented the budget and explained some town budget basics as well as the format of the
document.
Ms. Zahler gave an overview of taxes and fees on the tax bill as well as reserve funds and the use of
contingency funds this year.
She suggested some working agreements for the next budget meetings and went over the draft
agendas.
Ms. Olson inquired about department requests that went into this budget version.
Mr. Boggs said that he would like to see the community requests.

ADJOURN:
Mr. Goldman moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:09am; seconded by Mr. Boggs and passed
unanimously.
