Present : Chair George Tselekis, Ken Christianson, and Russ Carpenter, building inspector Alex Rachun, Vincent Mulcahy, Paula Shoemaker. Recording minutes : Deb Austic George called the hearing to order at 7 : 37 p . m. Architect Vincent Mulcahy was present to represent the applicant . Mulcahy showed plans and described the renovations to a boathouse, which would include renovation to the foundation, frame and deck of the first floor and replacement of an access stair. Mulcahy explained that he had already received permits from the DEC and Army Corps of Engineers as required for construction on the lake . Neighbor Paula Shoemaker expressed concern that the boathouse did not change use to become a residence . Mulcahy explained that the upper story would be enclosed but without utilities . Mulcahy also described changes to the dock. Alex noted that all neighbors were notified. Russ made a motion to approve the variance under the conditions of article 2, section 6 ; that the variance was not substantial, would not increase population, cause no detriment, and was not feasible by other means . The board voted . Ken — AYE Russ --- AYE George — AYE The motion was passed and variance granted. The Board adjourned at 8 : 02 p . m.
