Public Information Meeting on Water District 3 Aerator Project

CALL TO ORDER:
Ms. Zahler called meeting to order at 6:30pm.
PRESENTATION:
Mr. McKenna gave some background on the issue and answered questions.
He explained that Water District 3 has struggled with high TTHM (total trihalomethane) levels for
several years. Installing an aerator, sprayer, mixer, and blower system in the main tank will help lower
levels. There will be no service interruption during construction, and the project includes a guarantee
for 50% TTHM reduction.
