Cowett, S. Cunningham, G. Gillespie, D. Hay, and R. Segelken Deputy Clerk A. Podufalski, Code Enforcement Officer B. Cross Item 1 – Meeting called to order • Chair F. Cowett opened the meeting at 7:00 pm. Item 2- June 23, 2014 Minutes Motion: G. Gillespie Second: R. Segelken RESOLUTION No. 140 APPROVING MINUTES OF JUNE 23, 2014 RESOLVE, that the written, reviewed and revised minutes of the June 23, 2014 meeting are hereby approved. Aye votes – Chair F. Cowett, S. Cunningham, G. Gillespie, and R. Segelken Opposed- None Abstain- D. Hay Item 3- Public Comment • No members of the public present for comment. Item 4- Preliminary Site Plan Review- 509 Wyckoff Rd. • Ralph Varn, the project developer, attended as representative for property owner Peter Sarkus. • Code Enforcement Officer B. Cross gave an overview of the proposed project and reasons why a site plan review is necessary. • Code Enforcement Officer B. Cross informed the Board that the property falls within 500 ft. of the City of Ithaca and is therefore subject to General Municipal Law review by Tompkins County. Varn shared the project drawings with the Board and provided additional details. • The Board requested additional information be brought to the next presentation regarding: existing and proposed occupant count (maximum potential), existing and proposed parking spaces, location of storm water management structures (catch basins, etc.) -existing and proposed, if any. • The Board discussed what type of SEQR action the project should be categorized. Motion: G. Gillespie Second: D. Hay RESOLUTION No. 141 ACCEPT PROJECT AT 509 WYCKOFF RD AS AN UNLISTED SEQR ACTION RESOLVE, that the project proposal at 509 Wyckoff Rd is categorized as an Unlisted SEQR action and the property owner is to complete Part 1 of the Short Environmental Assessment Form. Aye votes – Chair F. Cowett, S. Cunningham, G. Gillespie, D. Hay, and R. Segelken Opposed- None Motion: G. Gillespie Second: R. Segelken RESOLUTION No. 142 TO HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROJECT AT 509 WYCKOFF RD RESOLVE, that a public hearing will be held on September 22, 2014 at 7:10 pm regarding the site plan review for the proposed project at 509 Wyckoff Rd. Aye votes – Chair F. Cowett, S. Cunningham, G. Gillespie, D. Hay, and R. Segelken Opposed- None Item 5-Other Business • Chair F. Cowett updated the Board on the progress of the Zoning Task Force. • The Board stated they are still in need of an Alternate and any suggestions should be passed on to Mayor Supron.
