DECEMBER 21 , 1976
A Working Meeting of the Town of Ithaca Planning Board was held
in the Town Hall , 126 East Seneca Street ( second floor ) , Ithaca , N . Y . ,
on Tuesday , December 21 , 1976 , at 7 : 30 p . m .
PRESENT : Chairman Barbara Holcomb , Liese Bronfenbrenner , Jonathan
Bradley , Maurice Harris , Richard Black , Henry Aron , Lawrence
Fabbroni ( Planning Engineer /Building Inspector ) .
ABSENT : Sam Slack , Daniel Baker ,
The Meeting was opened by the Chair at 7 : 37 p . m ,
PERSONS WHO MAY BE INTERESTED IN SERVING ON THE TOWN PLANNING BOARD
Since there will be five new faces on the Planning Board in
1977 , and there has been no response from the Republican or Democratic
Chairman with suggestions for persons interested in serving and the
Town Board has not suggested any persons , the members of the Board
discussed a great number of persons whom they thought should be
approached by Mrs . Holcomb to fill the vacancies ,
It was noted that Mrs . Bronfenbrenner , Mr . Bradley and Mr . Aron
will be the only carry-overs . The members decided to have the
meetings in 1977 chaired on a rotating basis . Mr . Bradley said he
would be willing to act as Chairman for the month of January . Mrs .
Bronfenbrenner will be willing to serve for the remainder of the
year 1977 , or for the month of February whichever the Board may then
decide .
A lengthy list of persons who may be interested in serving was
compiled by the Board members . The names will be followed up on by
the individual members of the Board and any firm responses will be
referred to the Town Board ,
INFORMAL DISCUSSION OF 1977
The members informally discussed where the Planning Board is at
the end of 1976 and where it may be going in 1977 .
ADJOURNMENT
Upon Motion , the Working Meeting was adjourned at 10 : 00 P . M .
