Town of Ulysses Planning Board
July 1 , 1998
Present: Chair Peter Demjanec, Krys Cail , Bud Stover, and Rick Geiger.

The meeting came to order at 7 : 50 p . m . The Board reviewed a revised draft of the
process flow chart. The Board determined that a public hearing would not necessarily be
required if the public review meeting was well publicized . The question was raised again
t regarding the Flood Hazard Overlay District and when section 321 would be applicable .
Consensus was that site modification and construction would require site plan review, but
not interior work.
The Board reviewed the history section written by Peter. The Board discussed
possible names and site plan review and public review of site development were
considered .
The Board began a close review of the language in the site plan review ordinance
and made changes to clarify the applicability of the Flood Hazard Overlay District. The
Board also decided to require site plan review for changes in use that affect site
appearance, drainage, noise level , parking, traffic .
The Board removed a paragraph relating to the responsibility of the zoning officer
and decided to move the sections relating to the decision-making procedure of the
Planning Board to the end of the ordinance .
Krys made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Rick, passed unanimously . The
meeting ended at 9 : 05 p . m .
