May 13 , 1969
The Regular Meeting of the Town of Ithaca Planning Board was
held May 13 , 1969 , at the Town of Ithaca offices , 108 E . Green St .
Present : Chairman Walter Schwan , Arnold Albrecht , Daniel Baker ,
James Boodley , Reginald Collins , Elmer Phillips , Robert Scannell ,
Paul Tavelli , and Lempi Sincebaugh , Secretary . Also : Sue Strandbery
Ithaca Journal , Richard Blatchley , Rocco Lucente , Mr . Layton ,
Francis Chase , Edward King , Otto Schoenfeld , Bill Scott , Mr . Hewitt :
Mrs . Krook and about six other interested persons .
BLATCHLEY SUBDIVISION
Mr . Scannell motion to give final approval to 2 lots on
Slaterville Road designated 1 and 2 and one on Honness Lane
designated 3 . Mr . Boodley second . Unanimously carried .
SCHOENFELD SUBDIVI6ION
Preliminary approval was granted to the Schoenfeld sub -
division which includes 33 lots in the Town of Ithaca on Burleigh
Drive , off Winthrop Drive , Mr . Phillips motion and Mr . Baker
• second . Unanimously carried .
Confirmation was given of the Planning Board ' s acceptance
of the proposed location for the road bordering Lansing line
within the Town of Ithaca which extends up to Burleigh Drive .
Upon motion of Mr . Phillips , in the interests of future
commerce of the Town , permission be given to allow city to
make the water and sewer taps to property line before road is
finally paved . Mr . Scannell seconded the motion , which was
unanimously carried .
FRANCIS CHASE SUBDIVISION
Mr . Collins moved to give final approval to 4 lots on
Muriel St . /Tareyton Drive . Mr . Scannell seconded the motion ,
which carried unanimously .
ITHACA PLAZA
Final approval was granted for the Ithaca Plaza , across
from Judd Falls Road , presented by Kennilworth Associates from
New York by motion of Mr . Boodley , with second by Mr . Scannell .
Unanimously carried .

OTIS DREW SUBDIVISION
Preliminary approval was given to the requested 11 lots .
Suggestions made were for cul -de - sacs and that the road come
in str `. 7- ht . This was by motion of Mr . Scannell and second by
Mr . Boodley . Unanimously carried .
