PLANNING BOARD
Manch 11 , 1969
The Regular Meeting of the Town of Ithaca Planning Board was
held March 11 , 1969 , at the Town of Ithaca offices , 108 E . Green
Street , Ithaca .
Present : Chairman Walter Schwan , Arnold Albrecht , James Boodley ,
Robert Scannell , Paul Tavelli and Secretary Lempi Sincebaugh .
Also David Cowan , Zoning Officer , Richard Blatchley , Arthur
Prince , Rocco Lucente , Mrs . Krook , Mrs . Livesay , and about a
dozen other interested parties .
ARTHUR PRINCE SUBDIVISION
Final approval was granted to Mr . Prince upon Mr . Scannell ' s
motion . Seconded by Mr . Boodley . This final approval to the
Arthur Prince six- lot subdivision is contingent upon the road-
being
oadbeing built through to Christopher Circle according to town speci -
fications . Mr . Prince gave a verbal commitment to rough out the
road this summer from Christopher Lane to the church . Unanimously
carried .
ZONING ORDINANCE SUBCOMMITTEE REPORT
The Zoning Ordinance Subcommittee Report of their March 6th
meeting was read . Committee : Elmer S . Phillips , Chairman ,
Arnold Albrecht and James Boodley . In the discussion which
followed , it became apparent that again the matter could not
be immediately resolved and a special meeting is to be held at
Schwan ' s for further deliberation .
GAS STATION REQUEST BY VAN ARSDALE
A request by Mr . Van Arsdale to the Planning Board is to
consider rezoning the area next to the Labor Building on Elmira
Road , across from McGuire Gardens , for a gas station . Members
of the Planning Board will go out , look it over and report .
Meeting adjourned at 9055 .
