PLANNING BOARD MINUTES

The meeting -vns called to order at 7 : 55 PaM :, by Vice �Chairman

SCHOENFELD YjAB : Attorney Hamilton presented a subdivision
p an venni c X15 a 9 Acre Tract on tirinthrop Drive ,, " dated
12/16/640 b;� Carl Crandall , P . E . which show8 change from
a map previcasly presented for road layout The change involves
dead ending .9 road previously . shown as proceeding north one
row of lots nest of the area now under construction . This
. was changed because of a deep ravineapproscimately 751 north
of the press qtly proposed turn=around .,
It was move . by Walter Wiggins , seconded by frank Liguori
and carried
That -wforesaid plan be accepted as preliminary road
and lot lejout plan and granted preliminary approval .
Permission was also granted for one Building Permit on lot
21 as shoe a but no Certificate of Occupancy is to be issued
until finial approval has been granted the subdivision .
Mro Vasse arrived ,
PREVIOUS K ' NUTES : The minutes of the previous 4/13/65

LUCENTE SUB�D ?:VISION : ? Ira Lucente presented the completed

sub®division Mr . Desch questioned the drainage as shown

drainage be storm severed underground from the northeast
corner of said lot to a connection with the existing culvert

It was also requested that the road as shown next north from
Stage '-:[, be named ( now shown as " ?Future Road " ) .
It was moved by Mr ., Iuiguori that Stage '' 1 as above be accepted
and approved as preliminary plan , but with Birchwood Driven,
)inewoode Place and section ox road now shown as "" future
Road " completed as a loop as required 4/13/65 in the minutes .-,
This includes lots 56 through 70 and 72 and 73 ;, seconded
by Tr :a Lacy and carried
Ivlr .. Lucente indicated that he is now negotiating with Cordell
University on a land swap for Multiple Residence purposes ,,
At the request of the developer , the Board agreed to delay
action on recommending to the Town Board on the proposed
Sapsucker :Moods Road re � zoning until he can complete his
negotiating with the University .
RECOMMENDATION TO PILL VACANCY : Mr . Liguori moved that Mr ,
i'la : er Sc warm Palur� e S`ree be recommended to the Towwn
Board as a replacement for Cordon W2.r`ng on this Board ,,
seconded by Mrs Lacy and carried ,

various cap . w a cn should be considea4ed in rewriting
the road specificat i ons and the sub —division ordinaance ,
It was specified at least a 100 ° diameter turnaround at
the end of stub roads , but a "° T " can
be used if it fits
in with a specific plan ..
SEWER ORDT Air CEa Chairman Vasse appointed Mr . Liguori and
wr , esch as a committee to study and recommend at the next
meeting on a suggested sewer ordinance for the Town ,
COST LSTIa.�TEa It was moved by Mr , Liguori to get and estimate

the Sub - Division Ordinance , seconded by ITre Phillips and
carried

14ro Phillips was designated as Chairman of the Park Develop
menu Committee and is to report at the next meeting ..,
Mra Wiggins also moved that a similar letter be sent to all
Civic Associations in the Town requesting information on
lands for play park . purposes ,, seconded by Mr . Desch rand
carried ,
