CHASE MIULTIPLE RESIDENCE
1-1ry Chase presented a general area plan. of the Williamsburg ,
Schoenfeld , Northeast Elementary School. and IMMultiple Duelling
zone section of the Northeast part of the Town of Ithaca and
explained to the Board what his present activity , and proposed .
Is activity in this area is composed of , what lands he now is
developing and these to which he is acquiring title for
dde xelopment "in the near future .
lyu� y Chase also presented and explained a. plan which he has
for an apartment house type of development on the Schoenfeld
lands ,which are presently zoned Multiple Residence , He
also presetxted a general site plan for apartment type
h.ou,sing located to the Forth of the new Elemeantaay Norhtea.st
School y site , proposing a change in zoning to Plul.tiple Residence
from `6aol '5 . .
The plan as presented proposes several hoase units in one
building separated by masonry fire walls , with these :indi Tia"
i dual house 1'..nits to be s =old as houses with land included ,
The Board .felt that there were many problems to be .studied ,
:. ea DW:iking , side yard requirements , zoning ordinance
atmendmenzs to cover definition of this type housing , etc . -
Th e proposal was submitted to the Zoning Committee: for
study and they were requested to report on same at next
regular meed. g ,� 11r . o as -e indicated that he would be ready
to start construction of -this project when the weather .
breaks in the spring if the Zoning and Planning Board

Mr . I-osarion informed the Board that the report , as au-thor�
ized , on reoreation areas has been requested from the
Regi oa?a.? Board by letter.
TRUTVIANSTURG ROAD RE ZONING PROPOSAL
Mr . Vasse informed the Boad Cif a tentative proposal by
Fsunna. Joilo a for cNl, t=zer a I9ursing Home or a Senior Citizen
Home to be located on property o=:,rned by himself on the
Trvimzaisburg Road in an R. 15 zone
Tt Was suggested that this be submitted to the Zoning
Board of :;appeals
