PLANNING BPARD MIIRJTES
NovEVIBRR 59 1963
The meeting was called to order at 7 : 30 PaMo
Members present were : Chairman Marions Vasse , ;raring ,
Lacy , Wiggins , and Perry a
Also present were : Zoning Officer Robert Je Wellse
The minutes of the October 19 1963 meeting were approved
after correction of the Franklin Sub-Division minutes on
page 29 line 7 and 8 to read :
" Proposed Sub-Division as shown on Franklin map
dated 8/28/63 , comprised of lots A through G . "
NURSERY SCHOOL CODDINGTON ROAD
After a discussion on the Russell Savey application for a
nursery school special approval at Coddington Road ;
a motion was made by Mr . Wiggins , seconded by Mr . Perry and
by unanimous voter
• " Move that this Board recommend to the ZoningmBoard that the
Savey Nursery School application be approved subject to the
Health Department approval of the septic tank system . This
Board further recommends that the Board of Appeals consider
the propriety of the owner installing a suitable safety
fence a 11
PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE
RP
Chairman Marion brought up the matter of the failure of the
Park Committee , appointed earlier by this Board , to report
on its findings * Mra Marion indicated that the Committee
has been disbanded and that ' a report is not forthcoming .
Mrs Wiggins brought up the fact that as the Town continues
to grow rapidly , our need increases while suitable , avail
able lard for this use deereasese
Notion by Mr . Wiggins , seconded by Mr . Lacy and unanimous
votes
" Move that the Planning Board hire the services of the
Greater Ithaca Regional Planning Board as outlined in their
proposal letter dated 12/'13/62 , relative to parks and
recreation areas , provided that the monies for the Planning
Board expenses are provided for in the up coming budget ,
is adopted ,,it

The site plan of the Northeast Elementary School was presented
