PLANNING BOARD
Minutes Sept . 229 1960 Meeting
Eagles Bldg .
Present - Liguori , Vesse , Pidnips , Marion, Waring also Miller , Boynton and Walls .
Minutes of Sept . 8th meeting corrected - Woolf sub-division received "preliminary approval"
the word "preliminary" was omitted from the minutes .
Jim Miller of the G . I. R . P. B . reported . on the progress of the Kendall AyAye„ Maban Renewal
Plan . Maps of land use , property condition, contour etc have been prepared and vere ex-
plained . Miller also touched briefly on the administration of Urban Renewal and method of
obtaining funds . He urged a meeting with the area residence before any further stops are
taken . It was reported by Boynton that Alex Pakkala of that section was to set up a
meeting for next week .
Vasse reported on a proposed Tom plan and suggested the remodeling of the present
town barn for this use . He feels that with a small expenditure the front of the present
building could bre improved and this section could house town offices and a large maeting
room. A now wing could be placed on the rear of the present building to care for garage
facilities . There are also other sites being considered .
Phillips asked in a motion "that the Town Board officials g1ve the requirements needed in
town hall offices and requested an appropreation of funds for the services of an architecto "
Second by Vass® - motion carried .
• Map presented of the Cgs,. - s, sub•-division in the vicinity of Elm Street and Coy Glen
Road . This is the property of Glenn Crone and the plot plan was presented for discussion
and suggestions . The Planning Board recommanded a more efficient layout of roads.
Meeting adjourned at 9 : 10 P. M.
