Comprehensive Plan Committee
February 25, 1998
Present : Doug Austic, Alex Rachun, Peter Demjanec, Ruth Kahn , Joanne Molino, Sue
Poelvoorde, and Catherine Stover.

The meeting began at 7 : 10 p . m . Alex distributed drafts of the document that he
had pulled together from previous work. The inventory from the county was scanned
because the original disk could not be found. Alex outlined what was still missing from
the draft : SEQR, the map, and how to incorporate the survey . Alex also noted that he had
written the recommendations by pulling together previous work by the committee and
that he hoped members would contribute more to what he had written .
The committee discussed SEQR and that a generic statement could be done .
There was a discussion of the public hearings that would need to be held . There would
need to be a hearing on the comprehensive plan and a separate one on SEQR but they
could be held back to back .
The committee decided to take home the drafts for review and meet again on
3/9/98 at 7 : 15 p . m . to discuss changes . The meeting ended at 8 : 15 p .m .
