O . O . F. Home . Liguori read a letter from Yxs . C . Cook requesting that this Business A area revert back to R-15 with her reasons for this request . Area residence comments follow v HarryGordon - indicated an old petition from people in area against any commercial establishment. He felt this was not 'to the betterment and welfare of the people and there was no need for an Insurance Building here . The Business A should be kept all in one place at the site of the Prof . Building to decrease any creeping . Arthur Adams - representing the I . O .. O . F. Home displayed maps of the area and explained the position of the home in selling off property. Glenn Griffen - stated that, . people liked the restrictive area , thats why they moved there , and want it kept that way.. He also felt that if the insurance company was a • growing firm they would expand eventually . Fred Brunt - representing the insurance firm explained the intent of the company pera taining to building , parking , landscapingg signs , employment etc . and assured the groups that things would be done in the best of taste . Gordon P.adison m did not feel that any business area was necessary on the T-burg Road because it was easily accessable to the city . R. Fulkerson - stated that the majority of the people had not been questioned on this issue as was stated at the public hearing of the Town Board on April 21st , She is against the insurance building , any right-of-way and all commercial establishments . Is also not too much in favor of any residential expansion in the area . Elmer Phillips m explained the intent of the Planning Board in laying out the Business A locations and also of future area growth . Harry Gordon ® gave some facts on the NW Civic Assoc . to the effect that the executive committee took it upon themselves to act on this zoning question. The following resolution was moved by Perry, seconded by Bruska and agreed to by the board . "Resolved ; that the question of Business A on the I . O . O . F. property be sent to the XVI Civic Aesoc . for a statement of favor or non-favor of said zoning , be it further resolved that the NW Civic Assoc . send a statement to the Planning Board for or against Business A North of the proposed professional building and if against any business other than the professional building they make such statement .. The Civic Assoc . will report to the board no latter than the first Wednesday in June and the I . O . O . F. is requested to withhold action -on said property until after July 1 , 1960 . t0 2 Homer BeGraff A subdivision pertaining to deeding of road , Notion by Vasse second by Phillips toask town highway superintendant to give his thinking in a statement to the Planning Board . Motion Carried . 1 Honness Lane - Pine Tree Road Potion tly Narionp second by Perry to hold meeting with area residence the third Wednesday in May. Motion carried . Leiberman Lr23rM - Reported by Varion that he received verbal approval from Tri- mp.AO State Egg Company on the Business C location and a letter is to follow . Wo action until letter is received . u It was reported that Cornell is in favor of the Warren - Triphanmer Road route as outlined in resolution agreed to at the April 20th board meeting . Also Liguori and Phillips are working with the G . I . R . P .B . on the proposed road through Forest Home to Route 13 . Paul McKeegan m of Hanshaw Road asked the advice of the board on a proposed property Il1 Pr sale and right�of-way to center lets . In a motion by Phillips and seconded by Pruska IUPC it was decided that the Planning Board would waive the sub• divi. sion regulations and deligate the reponsibility to the Zoning officer within the restrictions .of the Zoning Ordinance . ..mending the ordinance to allow for trailers and trailer parks was discussed . Bruska to contact Cornell toascertain if they would be interested in establishing a trailer park . \ ice Chairvan Liguori to examine the possibility of an urban renewal study for the Penn . Ave . area . Q .4 Ma motion by Bruska seconded by Peru it was agreed to change the meeting nights to the 2nd and doth Thursdays of each month starting on June 9th. a� Q On Yhy 19th the G . I . R . P . B . will rove its office to the neva city hall . It is Uu?` hopped that the Planning Board will be able to meet in these quarters . Meeting adjourned at 10 : 50 P .M .
