1 ) A public hearing was scheduled for Oct . 79 1959 8P. Ma at the Town
Highway Building to consider the application of Arthur Prince for approval
of his subdivision entitled rUnderwood Subdivision ,, Lots 1 thru 9 on
Hanshaw 2oad .
2 ) A Public Hearing was sch.� duied for Oct . 7 , 1959 at 8 : 15 P . M. at the
Town Highway Building to ccnsider the application of Cornell University
to construct a Prin Plant and Na chine Lab in the light industrial
zone at the corner of Route 13 an : Judd Falls Road . The proposed plan
meets all the Planning Board requirements except that because, of topography
and corner lot location the front and rear yard requirements are less than
required . The Board felt that then requirements should be waived in thin
application . Because the proposed driveway closely parallels Route ;; 13 it
was Pelt that there : :hculd be extra plantings at the roadsi -le to make a
sharp division between the two areas and to prevent any possible ccnfusion
on the part of motorists using Route 13 ,
3 ) The revised Zoning ordinance was discussed at length .
4 ) The following appointments were made
