January 28, 1998
Present: Chair George Tselekis, Carl Mann, Russ Carpenter, Jim Hickey , and members of
the public .
Recording minutes : Deb Austic
George called the meeting to order at 7 : 38 p .m . The Board reviewed the minutes
of July 14 , 1997 . Jim made a motion, seconded by Russ, to amend page 2 to read "Russ
seconded the motion. " Jim moved to approve the minutes as amended, seconded by Russ .
The motion passed . Carl abstained from the vote.
The Board reviewed the minutes of August 11 , 1997 . Carl made a motion to
approve the minutes as presented, seconded by Jim . The motion passed . Ken and Russ
abstained from the vote .
The Board reviewed the minutes of September 8 , 1997 . Jim made a motion to
approve the minutes as presented, seconded by Carl . The motion passed . Ken and Russ
abstained from the vote.
The Board reviewed the minutes of December 15 , 1997 . Carl made a motion to
approve the minutes as presented, seconded by Ken. The motion passed . Russ and Jim
abstained from the vote .
The Board reviewed and discussed the minutes of January 14, 1998 . George noted
Alex' s record of notification to Orson Ledger and the Board questioned the clarity of
Ledger' s statement about notification in the minutes . Jim made a motion to approve the
minutes as presented, seconded by Ken. Carl asked about the negative declaration
prepared by Alex . This was not included in the vote . The motion to approve the minutes
passed unanimously .
The Board discussed the tower approval process and respective roles of the Zoning and
Planning Boards . Russ made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Jim, passed unanimously .
The Board adjourned at 8M0 p . m .
