TOWN OF ITHACA PLANNING BOARD MEETING , N OVEMBER 19 . 1958
This meeting was held jointly . with the ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS .
Present : Watson , Phillips , Vasse , Hurst , Liguori , Fogelsanger , D . Powers ,
R . Powers , CookjLal.ston and Boynton .' Also present was a representa-
tive group of interested residents of the Bostwick-Elmira Road area .
Mr . Watson presented Prof . K . C . Parsons , who explained the proposed develop-
ment plan for the Bostwick-Elmira Road area .
The area was discussed - in relation to its effect on other properties in the
area , its physical characteristics and its value to the Town in general .
It was specified that this area is considered only as a light industrial
area , not as a commercial or as a heavy manufacturing area .

Area residents voiced no . objections to the. plan .
Ithwas decided that the next . PB . meeting should . be an informal public hearing
concerning the Charles Collihs .,. property ,
