Dear Miillaard :
I . am writing you to clarify our dincueeion about the trailer ,
which was recently placed on your land , as it raelatae6 to tete Zoning
Ordinance of the Town of Ithaca .
The 4oning Ordinance specifically prohibits the use of a
trailer for residence purposaee withis the Town exc*Pt for an eighteen-
mouth period , to provide quartera while a residence is under construction .
Thers is a section of the Zoning Ordinance which states that
farMs , while they are used as , f arena , do . foot have to complY with ate,• of
the sections Of the `honing Ordinance except for as list which is specific-
ally enumeratisd . However , when you move as trailer on your laud 4md it is
occupied as a residences the land on which that' trailer rests theft becomes
a residential uae of 161md and io subject to all restrictions . of ea residential
zone . Because the trailer was moved on your land in aeptember 1958 , I must
ask you to have it removed from your property prior to tete expiration of
the eighteean iaonth ,period whish would be April 1960 .
