The Board disussed ways and means of providing for better control
over the construction of apartment houses in residential areas . It was
agreed that the proposal should be worked out jointly with the Board of
Zoning Appeals and a meeting of the two'bBoards will be arranged for the
near future .
The Board discussed in a general way the out -look for the future
in the town of Ithaca and the need within the next few. years for positive
action by the town for sewer planning . Failure to provide for t his, need
may well result in loss of further areas of the town to the city of Ithaca .
