PRESENT : WATSON, PHILIPS , LIGUORI , BOYNTON & KRAVETZ The Board discussed the provisions of Section 18 of the Town Zoning Ordinance dealing with "Use Regulations " in Agricultural Districts . According to Section 18 , Agricul. tural Districts may be used for any lawful purpose except uses listed in Section 15 : The latter uses are those trades and industries usually considered aesthetically objectionable . Even these may be established in Agricultural Districts by special approval of the Board of Appeals . It was pointed out that Agricultural Districts frequently border Residential Districts and that better control over the former is needed to protect the latter . Mr . Philips presented a proposed amendment which would provide for better control but he asked for additional time to consider the matter before making a definite proposal to the Board . Mr . Boynton discussed his proposed subdivision of Snyder Hill Road . Plans for the subdivision will be presented to the Board in the near future . A preliminary plan for the proposed Winston Drive subdivision of Rocco Lucenti was presented and discussed . The plan was acceptable in principle and was forwarded to Mr . Boynton for presentation before the Board of Appeals for approval of some lot sizes which were smaller than required . Vo ft . Liguori presented a resolution to amend Item 3 of Section 5 of the Subdivision Regulations to read as follows : •", "Dead-end or - cul-de-bac streets shall not in general exceed 500 feet in length and shall be equipped with a turn around having a minimum dedicated right-of-way of 70 feet , minimum paved inside turning radius of 50 feet and a minimum paved out. side turning radius of 66 feet . " Motion was -unanimously adopted . " A letter dated Dec . 3 , 1956 from Mr . L. Liberman , addressed to the Town Board was read by Mr . Watson . Mr . Liberman requested that his property in the vicinity of the Cayuga Heights sewage treatment plant be rezoned from "residential " to "business " to permit ;aim to construct a trailer park , trailer sales and service , laundry service , gasoline service , dining facilities and possible boat and motor sales and service . He based his request on the loss of residential land value due to the sewage treatment plant . After 'considerable discussion , Mr . Philips made the following motion : Resolved "that as the present Zoning Ordinance is a permissive ordinance that does not specifically permit the establishment of new trailer parks , and in view of the absence of a specific trailer ordinance which recognizes the right to establish a trailer park , the Board cannot recommend to the Town Board the establishment of the proposed Liberman trailer park on the Salt Block lands at this time . " "Tt is , however , suggested that the Town Board investigate a proposed draft of a trailer ofidinance and include in such an ordinance provisions to control space • requirements for recreation and population density and desirable land scaping . " The resolution was unanimously adopted .
