This hearing was for the purpose of considering the application of George and Gladola Bushnell for a variance of the zoning ordinance in respect to frontage. Mr. and Mrs. Bushnell did not turn up for the hearing and no members of the general public turned up for or against this proposed variance. J. Wargo: We will have to get this approved by the Town of Dryden before we can act on i t . A. Clark: All you have to do is send the Town of Dryden a notice the same as you send property owners. All the zoning board members present read over the petition requesting this variance. G. Hoy: Where is this? R. Bell: Right in Peruvil le . J. Wargo: Do you know where Al Brown lives? R. Bell: No. J. Wargo: It's the last house on the left going towards McLean School. G. Hoy: I think I know where it is. Where it says 100 ft, back from the road, it's talking about this road here? G. HOY : You're talking - if they want to sell that off and split the lot, the lot is going to be in no way split now? J. Wargo: No. there will be a single lot now. D. Snell: As I understand it, his son is kind of retarded and he has to keep track of him, G. Hoy: To my way of thinking, they have a hardship reason then,-- I mean they have a good hardship reason for applying for the variance. J. Wargo: Yes. It would be easier if they split it up into two lots, - 1 - G. Hoy: Yes, and that would make the frontage that much less. J. Wargo: We can discuss this again next Monday night and vote on it then. A.
