ADJOURNED REGULAR BOARD MEETING
MARCH 26, 1974
At an adjourned regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, held at the ToWn Offices at 108
East Green Street, Ithace, New York, on the 26th day of March, 1974,
at 8550 p.m., there were:
PRESENT: Walter J. Schwah, Tbwn Supervisor
Noel Desch, Councilitian
Victor Del Rosso, Councilman
ABSENT: Robert N. Powers, Councilman
Andrew W. McElwee, Councilman
BELL GROCERY STORE ON ELMIRA ROAD
Motion by Supervisor Sbhwan; seconded by doiihoilman Desch,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca will hold a Pub
lic Hearing at 7:00 p.m. on April 8, 1974, in the Town Offices at 108
East Green Street, Ithaca, New York, for the purpose of considering
site plan approval for a family grocery store proposed by Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Bell, to be located on Route 13 (Elmira Road) south of the
Millbrook bakery, the property under consideration being part of the
Mancini light industrial tract, and hearing all persons for or against
such approval.
All Town Board members present voted Aye.
The Motion carried unanimously.
PROPOSED EXPANSION OF NCR OFFICE BUILDING ON DANBY ROAD
Motion by Supervisor Schwan; seconded by Councilman Desch,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca will hold a Pub
lic Hearing at 6:45 p.m. on April 8, 1974, in the Town Offices at
108 East Green Street, Ithaca, New York, for the purpose of consider
ing site plan approval of an expansion of the NCR Office Building on
the. Danby Road and hearing all persons for or against such approval.
All ^Town Board members-<-present voted Aye.
The Motion carried unanimously.
APPOINTOIENT OF CHAIRMAN OF ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
Motion by Supervisor Schwan; seconded by Councilman Del Rosso,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca appoint Mrs.
Laurene Ripley as Chairwoman of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the
Town of Ithaca.
All Town Board members present voted Aye.
The Motion carried unanimously.
APPOINTMENT OF VICE-CHAIRMAN OF ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
Motion by Supervisor Schwan; seconded by Coiincilman Del Rosso,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca appoint Mr. Jack
Hewett as Vice-Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of
Ithaca.
All Town Board members present voted Aye.
The Motion carried unanimously.
