TOWN OF ULYSSES
JOINT MASTER / PLANNING BOARD MEETING
VILLAGE HALL
NOVEMBER 28 , 1994
PRESENT : MASTER PLAN MEMBERS : CATHERINE STOVER AND RANDY
BROWN ; PLANNING BOARD CHAIRMAN : DAVID TYLER ;
MEMBERS : PETER DEMJANEC AND GREGG HOFFMIRE ;
SECRETARY : ROXANNE SMITH
® The meeting came to order at 7 : 40 PM . Roxanne brought to
the Members ' attention some additional changes to the Master Plan
Draft that Town Supervisor Doug Austic had noted . The changes
need to be made on page 54 . Under General Government , in the
third sentence , after " The Supervisor is elected for a four year
ter. m . . . is the fiscal and the budget officer , " needs to be added .
In the last paragraph , on the same page , " four year term " needs
to be changed to " two year term " in two places . Also , the
addition of " / treasurer " should be added to " clerk " at the end of
the last sentence . Doug had also commented that there needs to
be documentation for the Master Plan Draft .
The Members then discussed how the survey responses should
be categorized , so the tally sheets could be used efficiently .
( Sue Poelvoor. de will be bringing them in at a later date . ) The
Members arrived at ten categories . They are as follows :
✓ illage , Rt . 89 , Rt . 227 , Jacksonville , Rt . 96 , Rt . 96 - North
Jacksonville , Rt . 96 - Southeast Jacksonville , Rt . 96 - Northwest
J acksonville , and Rt . 96 - Southwest Jacksonville .
The next joint Master Plan / Planning Board Meeting will be
D ecember 6 , 1994 . It will be held in the Town Clerk ' s office at
7 : 30 PM ( there is a Zoning Board meeting at the town hall at the
same time ) . The purpose of that meeting will be to distribute
the tally sheets , along with the various surveys , so the Members
can begin the work of recording the responses .
