LOCAL LAW NO. 8 OF THE YEAR 2011
A Local Law Amending Chapter 250 of the Town of Ithaca Code, Titled "Vehicles
and Traffic," to Prohibit Parking East of the Intersection of Sand Bank Road and NYS
Route 13
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 130 of the Town Law of the State of New York, and
Section 1660 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York, Chapter 250
(Vehicles and Traffic) of the Town of Ithaca Code, Section 250-16, titled "Parking of
vehicles", Subparagraph A, is hereby amended by adding new subdivisions (26)reading
as follows:
"(26) On both sides of Sand Bank Road from the intersection of NYS Route 13
with Sand Bank Road to a point 1,400 feet east of the center line of NYS
Route 13."
Section 2. In the event that any portion of this law is declared invalid by a court
of competent jurisdiction, the validity of the remaining portions shall not be affected by
such declaration of invalidity.
Section 3. This local law shall take effect upon its filing with the New York
Secretary of State.
