The meeting was held at the Ulysses Town Hall at 10 Elm Street, Trumansburg.
Notice of Town Board meetings are posted on the Town’s website and Clerk’s board.
ATTENDANCE:
TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT:
Supervisor- Liz Thomas
Board members- Nancy Zahler, Richard Goldman, John Hertzler,
Town Clerk- Carissa Parlato
Project Assistant- Michelle Wright
Highway Superintendent- Scott Stewart
ABSENT:
Michael Boggs
OTHERS PRESENT:
Peter Houghton (present for a few minutes around 9:30am)
CALL TO ORDER:
Ms. Thomas called the meeting to order at 8:04pm.
2020 BUDGET DISCUSSION:
Ms. Thomas noted that the board had already gone through all of the funds in the tentative budget
discussion.
The board discussed and made changes to the following lines:
• DA5142.1-Snow removal PS
• DA 5148.1- Other Gov. Snow Removal
Ms. Zahler inquired about differences in funding requests in various highway lines. Mr. Stewart
responded that items have not been attributed to the same lines in the past.
The board further discussed:
• DB fund lines
• Seeking grant funds for culvert/bridges
• Adding to culvert & bridge reserves
• How Highway PS lines are funded across various lines
• Hiring a mechanic and how that would affect Machinery PS lines

• Health insurance lines
• Procuring a generator for the Highway Department
• Recreation Administration is now broken down into more lines
• Parks CE
ADJOURN:
Ms. Zahler moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:38am. This was seconded by Mr. Hertzler and passed
unanimously.
