Special Meeting of the Ithaca Town Board
The town board will hold a special meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday,
January 21, 2014 to appoint a zoning board of appeals member and chair.
The meeting will be held at the Public Works Facility located at 106 Seven
Mile Drive, Ithaca. Please call the town clerk at 607-273-1721 for more

MEETING OF THE ITHACA TOWN BOARD
Tuesday, January 21,2014 -10:30 a.m.
Minutes
Meeting called to order at 10:33 a.m. by Herb Engman and a quorum declared.
This special meeting was called with the sole agenda item of rectifying an omission from
the Organizational Meeting of the Town Board and reappointing Kirk Sigel to the Zoning
Board of Appeals and reappointing him as Chair.
TB Resolution No. 2014 - 020: Appointment of Zoning Board of Appeals Member
and Chair
Whereas, the Director of Code Enforcement has recommended that Kirk Sigel, whose
term expired December 31,2013, be reappointed as a regular member to fill the current
vacancy left by the resignation of Ron Krantz, and
Whereas, the Zoning Board of Appeals has unanimously recommended that Kirk Sigel be
reappointed as Chair for the year ending December 31, 2014,
Now therefore be it
Resolved, that the Ithaca Town Board hereby appoints Kirk Sigel, of 223 Highgate Road,
to the Zoning Board of Appeals as a regular member for a term to fill a one year vacancy
beginning January 1, 2014 and ending December 31, 2014, and be it
Further resolved, that the Ithaca Town Board hereby reappoints Kirk Sigel as Chair of the
Zoning Board of Appeals beginning January 1,2014 and ending December 31, 2014.
Moved: Bill Goodman Seconded: Rich DePaolo
Vote: Ayes - Goodman, DePaolo, Howe and Engman Motion Passed
Meeting was adjourned at 10:34 a.m. upon motion by Rich DePaolo and second by Bill
Goodman. Unanimous
