Final Meeting Minutes
November 20, 2019
Approved: December 4th, 2018
Call to order: 7:00 pm
Present: Chair David Blake, Jonathan Ferrari, John Wertis, Steven Manley, Town Planner John Zepko
Members of the Public Present: Ken Kearl
Minutes review (November 6, 2018): Minutes for the November 6th Planning Board meeting were
approved unanimously.
Privilege of the Floor: None.
Business
Site Plan Amendment – 1513 Taughannock Blvd, SBL 18.-1-19.8: The applicant is proposing to amend
an approved Site Plan (approved May 2017) to include a catch basin and 12-inch pipe instead of the
rainwater runoff swale drainage as originally approved.
Mr. Kearl, owner of 1513 Taughannock Blvd., informed the Board that because of changes in the grading
on his property, a catch basin is needed to maintain sufficient drainage. Mr. Zepko noted that the
change is minor and will not cause erosion. He added that swale runoff no longer works because the site
is too high.
Board members asked questions about how the catch basin will be constructed. Mr. Wertis MADE the
MOTION to approve the amendment to the site plan and Mr. Ferrari SECONDED the MOTION.
The motion was approved unanimously.
Mr. Wertis then MADE the MOTION to adjourn and Mr. Blake SECONDED the MOTION. The meeting
adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
