Town of Ulysses
November 26, 2018

The meeting was held at the Ulysses Town Hall at 10 Elm Street, Trumansburg.
Notice of Town Board meetings are posted on the town’s website and clerk’s board.
ATTENDANCE:
TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT:
Supervisor- Liz Thomas
Board members- Michael Boggs, Rich Goldman, Nancy Zahler
Town Clerk- Carissa Parlato
Environmental Planner- John Zepko
ABSENT:
John Hertzler
OTHERS PRESENT:
(none)
CALL TO ORDER:
Ms. Thomas called the meeting to order at 8:04am.
ZONING UPDATE DISCUSSION:
The board discussed several zoning topics, including flag lots, (size and number allowances) as well as shared
driveways.
They went on to discuss items from a list developed by Ms. Zahler, focusing on the following:
• Ag-related commerce- outdoor display limits
• Compost
• Hunting clubs
• Jacksonville:
o hamlet center lot sizes
o connecting to municipal water
o form requirements
o parking standards
o multiple residences
o design standards (pedestrian design, signs
ADJOURN:
Ms. Zahler moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:45am, seconded by Ms. Thomas.
