TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE
AQUIFER PROTECTION PERMIT
PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 178-46 of the Code of the Town of
Cortlandville, a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville,
County of Cortland, New York, on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Town of
Cortlandville Municipal Garage, 3587 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York concerning an
application for an Aquifer Protection Permit.
The application is by Builder’s Best Home Improvement Center, Inc. to construct a 5,000 sq. ft.
storage warehouse for an existing home improvement center retail business for property located
on the east side of Luker Rd., approximately halfway between the McLean Road/Luker Road
intersection and the NYS Route 281/Luker Road intersection, tax map #95.00-09-01.000.
The Applicant is the owner of the property, which is located in the primary area of the Aquifer
Protection District of the Town of Cortlandville and is located in a Zoning District denominated
Planned Commercial Business (B-3).
At the time and place of said hearing all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity
to be heard.
