TOWN BOARD MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING - NOVEMBER 6, 2006
PRESENT :
Supervisor Dietrich
Councilpersons : Eugene Beavers, Norbert Nolte, Joseph Salino , Gladys Varona-Lacey
Others Present:
Carol Sczepanski - Town Clerk
Susan Beeners - Code Enforcement Officer
Supervisor Dietrich called the Special Meeting of the Board to Order at 7 : 15 p .m. Purpose of the
meeting was for the appointment of an additional Attorney firm for the Town.
After discussion the following resolution was adopted by the Board.
RESOLUTION NO. 95 OF 2006
APPOINTMENT OF ADDITIONAL ATTORNEYS FOR THE TOWN OF DANBY
By Councilperson Varona-Lacey: Seconded by Councilperson Nolte
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Danby finds that there is a need to make changes in
the composition of Attorneys for the Town;
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Danby hereby appoints the firm of Miller Mayer
L. L.P . , with David Tyler to act as primary attorney, as Attorneys for the Town; and it is
FURTHER RESOLVED, that Richard Stumbar will be retained on a transitional basis to act as
Attorney for the town on work as to be determined by the Town Supervisor, such work generally to
include the following :
1 . Highway Remediation project Financing.
2 . Danby CMC Development Subdivision.
A roll call vote on the resolution resulted as follows :
Beavers Aye
Nolte Aye
Salino Aye
Varona-Lacey Aye
Dietrich Aye Carried Unanimously
ADJOURNMENT :
On a motion the meeting adjourned at 7 : 30 p .m.
