Home My WebLink About2004-12-29 1476 1 Town Board Minutes Year-end Meeting December 29, 2004 TOWN OF DANBY TOWN BOARD MINUTES YEAR-END MEETING DECEMBER 29, 2004 PRESENT : Supervisor Dietrich Councilpersons : Joel Gagnon, Norbert Nolte, Naomi Strichartz Councilperson Gladys Varona-Lacey excused Others Present : Carol Sczepanski - Town Clerk Susan Beeners - Code Enforcement Officer William Hall - Highway Superintendent Sue Howe - Highway Secretary Ted Jones - Bookkeeper Ray VanDeBogart - Member of the public Supervisor Dietrich called the meeting to order at 7 : 45 p .m. Susan Beeners reported that there will be a revision the to Appeal of Kevin Coons that is scheduled for a public hearing by the Board on Monday, January 10 , 2005 . The revision will be included in the proposed resolutions that she will submit it to the Board on January 3 , 2005 . Highway Report The Highway Superintendent submitted his December 2004 report including requests for encumbrance of funds and transfer of funds in his accounts . Included in the report were proposed resolutions requesting transfer from specific account. A sheet was attached showing the balances * f accounts (non-payroll) and requested transfers and encumbrances . The Board discussed the problem with truck No . 39 and reviewed estimates for its repair. The truck is needed for this winter season. Amendment to Agreement to Spend Town Highway Funds (Revised 12/13/04) RESOLUTION NO. 66 OF 2004 - Approved AMENDMENT OF 2004 - AGREEMENT TO SPEND TOWN HIGHWAY FUNDS (Revised 12/13/04) By Councilperson Strichartz : Seconded by Councilperson Nolte RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Danby approves the amendment to the Agreement to Spend Town Highway Funds as follows : * No centerline drainage done on E . Miller Road $26,000 * No centerline drainage done on Updike Road $ 36 ,000 * Add culvert pipe on Fisher Settlement Road $ 30,000 * Add multiple pipes five(5 ) on Michigan Hollow Road and guide rail installed at creek crossing pipe and curve at point of rocks $20,000 . A roll call vote on the resolution resulted as follows : Councilperson Varona-Lacey excused Gagnon Aye Nolte Aye Strichartz Aye Dietrich Aye Carried The Town Board signed the amendment to the Agreement to Spend Highway Funds for 2004 . I 477 2 Town Board Minutes Year-end Meeting December 29, 2004 Requested Encumbrances from Departments Danby Community Library The Library Coordinator has submitted a listing of outstanding bills for 2004 in the amount of $694 . 00 and requested that their remaining funds of $ 694 . 00 be encumbered into 2005 for payment. Ted Jones reported to the Board that the Danby Community Library has $486 . 18 remaining in their account to be carried over into 2005 . A roll call vote on the motion resulted as follows : Councilperson Varona-Lacey excused Gagnon Aye Nolte Aye Strichartz Aye Dietrich Aye Carried West Danby Water District No. 13 of 2004 A motion was made by Councilperson Gagnon and seconded by Supervisor Dietrich that the Town Board of the Town of Danby approves the West Danby Water District No . 13 of 2004 in the amount of $912 . 34, voucher number 63 -66 . A roll call vote on the motion resulted as follows : Councilperson Varona-Lacey excused Gagnon Aye Nolte Aye Strichartz Aye Dietrich Aye Carried Trust and Agency Account Warrant of December 29, 2004 A Motion was made by Councilperson Strichartz and seconded by Councilperson Nolte that the Town Board of the Town of Danby approves the Trust and Agency Fund Warrant T&A86 in the amount of $450 . 00 as submitted.
