SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
July 16 , 1982
At a Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca ,
Tompkins County , New York , held at the Town Offices at 126 East
Seneca Street , Ithaca , New York , at 12 : 00 noon , on the 16th day of
July , 1982 , there were :
PRESENT : Noel Desch , Supervisor
Marc Cramer , Councilman
Henry McPeak , Councilman
Dooley Kiefer , Councilwoman
David Jennings , Councilman
ABSENT : George Kugler , Councilman
Shirley Raffensperger , Councilwoman
ALSO PRESENT : Genevieve Miller , Deputy Town Clerk
RESOLUTION NO . 96
" Motion by Supervisor Desch , seconded by Councilman McPeak ,
RESOLVED , that the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca will meet and
conduct a public hearing on July 26 , 1982 , at 6 : 15 P . M . , at the
Town Hall at 126 East Seneca Street , Ithaca , New York , to consider
the adoption of a Local Law amending Local Law # 5 of the year 1980 ,
in regard to a change in the income eligibility level for Real
Property Tax Exemption for the Elderly from $ 9 , 200 to $ 10 , 500 as
permitted by Section 467 of the Real Property Tax Law .
( Desch , Cramer , McPeak , Kiefer and Jennings voting Aye . Nays .
none ) ,
ADJOURNMENT
