TOWN BOARD MINUTES
BUDGET WORKSHOP
OCTOBER 10, 2001
PRESENT :
Supervisor Edward Inman
Councilpersons : Joel Gagnon, Norbert Nolte, Naomi Strichartz, Gladys Varona-Lacey
Others Present :
Carol Sczepanski - Town Clerk
Sue Howe - Highway Department Secretary
Bill Hall - Highway Superintendent
Ric Dietrich - Member of the public
The meeting was called to order at 5 : 30 p.m. and the Highway Department Tentative Budget was
reviewed by the Board. Supervisor Inman reported that he had included in the employee wage
compensation the increase of one ( 1 ) man or overtime allowance for the department.
Highway Superintendent Bill Hall reported that we are in need of updating our equipment. The
possibility of calling in bonds to combine debt was discussed and will be looked into .
Page 15 of the General Worksheets represents a 3 % increase in salaries .
The Highway Secretary Account A5010 . 110 was approved for $ 15 , 700 . 00 .
Highway Account A5132 .400 increased from $30,000 . 00 to $33 ,000 . 00 .
Meeting adjourned at 7 : 35 p.m .
