SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

At a Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca ,
Tompkins County , New York , held at the Town Offices at 126 East
Seneca Street , Ithaca , New York , at 7 : 00 p . m . on the 27th day of
April , 1978 , there were
PRESENT : Noel Desch , Supervisor
Andrew W . McElwee , Councilman
Victor Del Rosso , Councilman
Gust L . Freeman , Councilman
Catherine Valentino , Councilwoman
Shirley Raffensperger , Councilwoman
ABSENT : Robert N . Powers , Councilman
TAX EXEMPTION FOR THE TOWN HALL
Motion by Councilman McElwee ; seconded by Councilwoman Raffensperger ,
RESOLVED , that this Town will actively pursue , by way of special
State Legislation , the matter of exemption of the Town Hall at
126 East Seneca Street , in the City of Ithaca , Tompkins County ,
New York , from real estate taxes .
( Valentino , Freeman , Del Rosso , McElwee , Raffensperger , and
Desch voting Aye . Nays - none )
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the meeting ,
it was duly adjourned .
