ORGANIZATIONAL MATTERS
The Organizational Meeting of the Town of Groton Zoning Board of Appeals
was called to order at 6:57 p.m.
Selection of Chairman
A motion was made by Member Paul Fouts to nominate Ted Schiele as Chairman of the Town
of Groton Zoning Board of Appeals for 2017. The motion was seconded by Member Pat
Gaines, with the vote recorded as follows:
Ayes: Member Fouts Nays: None
Member Gaines
Member Schiele
Member Darling Absent: Member Cerretani
Motion carried.
This becomes Action # 1 of 2017.
Selection of Vice -Chairman
A motion was made by Chairman Schiele to nominate Paul Fouts as Vice -Chairman of the
Town of Groton Zoning Board of Appeals for 2017. The motion was seconded by Member
Carolann Darling, with the vote recorded as follows:
Ayes: Member Fouts Nays: None
Member Gaines
Member Schiele
Member Darling Absent: Member Cerretani
Motion carried.
This becomes Action #2 of 2017.
Selection of Meeting Day/Time
Following a brief discussion, a motion was made by Member Fouts to select the fourth
Wednesday of the month for the 2017 Town of Groton Zoning Board of Appeals meetings at 7
p.m., as needed. The motion was seconded by Member Darling, with the vote recorded as
follows:
Ayes: Chairman Schiele Nays: None
Member Gaines
Member Fouts
Member Darling Absent: Member Cerretani
Motion carried.
This becomes Action #3 of 2016.
