SPECIAL MEETING
FEBRUARY 3 , 1999

Supervisor Kenneth Horst called the special meeting to order at 8 : 25 p .m . to address transfer of
1998 funds to Capital Reserve Accounts .
RESOLUTION NO . 26 OF 1999
TRANSFER OF $60 ,000.00 FROM 1998 FUND BALANCE TO CAPITAL RESERVE
HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT FUND
By Councilperson Steiner : Seconded by Councilperson Strichartz
WHEREAS , a capital reserve fund was established by Resolution No . 56 of 1995 entitled "TOWN
MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT RESERVE FUND OF THE TOWN OF DANBY FOR
PURCHASES OF FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($ 50, 000 . 00) OR MORE", under Section 6c of
the General Municipal Law, now be it
RESOLVED, that the Town board of the Town of Danby approve the transfer of sixty thousand
dollars ($ 60 , 000 . 00) from DA3507 to DA9950 . 900 Capital Reserve Highway Equipment Fund.
A roll call vote on the resolution resulted as follows :

Horst Aye Carried Unanimously

TRANSFER OF $25,000.00 FROM 1998 FUND BALANCE TO CAPITAL RESERVE TOWN
RENOVATION FUND

WHEREAS, a capital reserve fund was established by Resolution No . 57 of 1994 entitled, "TOWN
BUILDING CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR OF FACILITIES AND COMPLIANCE WITH
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT RESERVE FUND OF THE TOWN OF DANBY",
under Section 6c of the General Municipal Law, now be it
RESOLVED , that the Town Board of the Town of Danby approve the transfer of Twenty five
thousand dollars ($25 , 000 . 00) from A/various funds to A9950 . 500 Capital Reserve Town Hall
Renovation Fund.
A roll call vote on the resolution resulted as follows :

Horst Aye Carried Unanimously
Councilperson Steiner stated for the record that his projections of the 1998 budget was that it was
inadequate -- when if fact they were adequate .
