Councilperson Kelly Smith as Representative to Joint Youth Program - We had a discussion about the 4th of July concession stand. Baseball and Softball has kind of monopolized it and they've been making $1,200 to $1,500 in profits and some of the other sports teams would like to have a piece of that pie. So, next year we'll see if any other sports want to do it and then we will start rotating it. We're getting the binders ready to distribute to the different teams. We had the needs assessment meeting. Summer booklets are out. Glenn E. Morey, County Legislator - We had our first budget meeting and we decided amongst ourselves that we're going to keep the tax cap at 2.4 which is the State levy. The good news is the increase in the CHIPS fund. Groton City Road and Champlin Road will be paved this year, probably during August.
