SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

At a special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca , Tomp-
kins County , New York , ; held at the Town of Ithaca Offices at 108 East
Green Street , Ithaca , New York , on the 10th day of February , 1975 , at
5 : 00 p . m . , there were

APPROVAL OF , BOLTON POINT WARRANTS
The Board reviewed the warrants for the Bolton Point project , which
warrants had been iecommended for payment by the Southern Cayuga Lake
Intermunicipal 64ater Commission .
Motion by Councilman Desch * seconded by Councilman Powers ,
RESOLVED , that the warrants for the Bolton Point project be approved
as follows :

APPOINTMENT TO AD HOC YOUTH
AND RECREATION CWDIITTEE
Councilman McElwee recommended Herbert Mahr to represent the
Town of Ithaca on the± Tompkins County Ad Hoc Youth and Recreation
Committee .
idotion by Councilman ,Powers ; seconded by Councilman McElwee ,
:RESOLVED , that Herbert Mahr , 103 Judd- Falls Road , be appointed to
the Tompkins County Ad Hoc Youth and Recreation Committee , effective

mmediately .
Unanimously carried .
APPOINTMENT TO PLANNING BOARD
A vacancy was created on the Town of Ithaca Planning Board by
the resignation of Dr . John Lowe . Barbara Holcomb , Planning Board
Chairwoman , recommended as a replacement Mr . Richard D . Black , Cornell
Associate Professor of Agricultural Engineering . She noted that Mr .
Black has been helpful in the past and has background experience which
would be useful on the Planning Board .
Town Board Minutes - 2 - February 10 , 1975
Motion by Councilman Desch ; seconded by Councilman Powers ,
RESOLVED , that Richard D.. Black , Associate Professor of Agricultural
Engineering at Cornell University , be appointed to the Town of Ithaca
Planning Board to replace Dr . John Lowe and to complete his unexpired
term , termination date " December 31 , 1977 .
Unanimously carried .
