MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2016 AT 7:00 PM

Those present: Donald F. Scheffler, Supervisor
Ellard L. Sovocool, Councilperson
Randy N. Jackson, Councilperson
Sheldon C. Clark, Councilperson
Victoria Monty, Attorney for the Town
Absent: Kelly Smith, Councilperson
Also present: April Scheffler.
The Special Meeting was called by Supervisor Scheffler for the purpose of rescinding the resolution
passed February 9, 2016 for the purpose of creating a capital reserve fund for roof repair/replacement
subject to permissive referendum. It was discovered after the fact that the wording of the resolution was
questionable and could create confusion at a later date. To prevent undue effort for the public,
specifically a petition against the creation of said capital reserve fund, Supervisor Scheffler felt that the
resolution should be rescinded as soon as possible.
RESOLUTION #16-026 - RESCIND RESOLUTION #16-025
MOVED by Supervisor Scheffler, seconded by Councilperson Sovocool
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby rescinds Resolution #16-025 - Establish Town Building Roof
Repair/Replace Reserve Fund with the intent of revisiting the issue at the March 8, 2016 Regular Board
Meeting, at which meeting a clearer resolution that better represents the Board's intent will be presented.
Ayes - Sovocool, Smith, Jackson, Clark, Scheffler
Nays -
Resolution Passed
Supervisor Scheffler apologized for the confusion.
There being no further business, Councilperson Clark moved to adjourn, seconded by Councilperson
Sovocool, at 7:03 pm. Unanimous.
